I've managed to sell my girlfriend on the idea of her having a 70s or 80s Japanese SUV for her DD. This should fit the bill quite nicely.

I'll toss the Avantime motor in the same shipping container. There's a Peugeot store about 8 minutes from my apartment, need anything from there?

Too shiny, but damn nice. Love the tall roof. That bumper doesn't do any favors for approach angle though, and it reminds me of the Union Pacific railroad trucks I see sometimes.

odd enough, not right now! I have a container to bring over with duurtlang first and then we can see what is up. You are in Switzerland or Paris, I always forget. If in france I might need you to test drive one of these http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/offre…

Paris, and oh my god those things are incredible. I might go test drive one just for the hell of it.

I figured you might. Once the duurtlang deal goes down and those are sold if you are situated to park a car and I am ready to jump, Ill buy one and you can bang it around for a while till I import it

Damn if only I lived somewhere better for cars. There's parking at my building, but it's either street parking or 300€/month. Not to mention the traffic is literally hell for the surrounding 20 miles, but that's downtown Paris for you. Ah oh well, I'm only here for forty more days anyways.

Yep, going back to my parents' place in SE Michigan for work this summer (internship in metro Detroit). After that, one more school year in Oklahoma and then I get to join this Real World everybody keeps telling me about.

Looking forward to it. Paris is nice and all but I'm not a city dweller. Can't wait to spend my nights on the lake, build a fire, go for a god damned drive.

The factory winch bumpers on everything up to the 80 series were oddly forward. I'm sure they had a reason for it, but for the life of me I don't know what it is. The 100 series factory winch is like the LR3 winch, and hidden inside the factory bumper.
